Although there are Wels Catfish can be found in lake Como, we offer a trip to the hub of Wels catfish fishing in Italy. The Po river is known for producing world record breaking size catfish. 

Lake Como and the surrounding areas offer some spectacular waters that can only be fully appreciated from a boat. Our guide staff have spent years learning the lake we fish in order to find our anglers the best fishing available. We recommend these trips for anglers of all experience levels. Depending on seasonality and availability you can enjoy fishing for Trout, Pike, Asp, Perch, Wells Catfish, whitefish, shad, Zander, and Chub

*Available all year round. Total trip duration 4/6 hours. Maximum 2 guests on the boat. Customers who accompany the anglers and are not fishing do not have to pay to fish or for a fishing licence.

Meeting Points: We offer two options, the city of Cremona or the town of Castelvetro.

How the day is planned.

A typical predator trip includes meeting at the established meeting point by 8 am. Then we head out to do some fishing on the lake. Our trip usually lasts between 4 and 6 hours. Please remember to bring your own non alcoholic beverages and snacks. 

 

How it Works

  1. Please contact us for availability before paying the deposit. bookings@lakecomofishing.com
  2. Once availability is confirmed by our staff you can make your reservation online by paying an upfront deposit by clicking down below(deposit is per person).
  3. Once the deposit is paid we will confirm the guide and send you your final booking confirmation that includes your meeting point and time. Your guide will also contact you to confirm everything before the day of the trip.
  4. The final payment is made if possible two days before or on the day of the trip via credit card.

 

What we will need from you

To make sure the day runs smoothly we will need the following details sent via email.

  1. A form of ID from each angler to arrange the fishing licence
  2. Boot size and height for wading gear
  3. what type of fishing you would like to do
